Amber Rose has turn out to be caught up in a scheme to trick models in to prostitution.
According to the website when the hopefuls, who had been told they were applying for a “paid celebrity photoshoot and clothing line”, called in they were played the old video featuring Amber.
An aspiring model in Los Angeles contacted the LAPD after she believed a company was using Amber Rose to lure women into prostitution.
One such model came forward and filed a police report on Monday, claiming that the company was attempting to bring her into their prostitution ring.
The company allegedly pulled an outdated video from Rose’s Ustream, found below, orchestrating FaceTime sessions to make it appear the applicants were speaking directly to her.
The clip cut out after a short time as Amber appeared to be struggling with a bad connection.
Eventually, the company would set up the model on a date with a “rich guy”.
The company would text the model, asking if they would be willing to be intimate; If so, it would help them get bigger projects, and working with Amber might help them.
But now that the full goal of the scam has been revealed, Gossip Cop is told Rose, separate from her own name being associated with it, is “upset anyone would do this kind of thing in the first place” to women.
