The gameplay reveal focused largely on full jetpack control, which allows the game’s heroes (in suits called “Javelins”) to fly up, over, and all around giant worlds and combat arenas, along with bombastic, third-person combat against giant, handsomely rendered beasts. Players customize an array of powered Javelin exosuits and team up to face a unsafe and ever-changing world through exploration and combat. There are four different types of Javelins in the game and each type offers unique playstyles. According to Bioware and EA, they intend to take elements of what made their single player games enjoyable.
The highly anticipated action title is set for release on February 22, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
