Arsenal have been told to fork out £60m for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to The Sun. He (Mkhitaryan) can play in all kinds of positions.
Arsenal are in talks with Dortmund for Aubameyang and despite there being some distance between their offer and the player’s price, they are confident of getting a deal done.
The 29-year-old forward is widely expected to complete his move to the Red Devils on Monday, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan heading in the opposite direction.
Veteran manager Wenger has always been a believer in clubs not spending “beyond their natural resources” and last week angered Gunners fans by saying there was no way the London side could match the reported £500,000 ($697,000, 569,000 euros) weekly wages on offer to Sanchez at United.
Spain worldwide Monreal has been in unusually good goalscoring form, with the strike against the Eagles his third in this season’s Premier League.
The Dortmund striker appears to be pushing for a move away to Arsenal, at least that’s what his recent actions would suggest.
While there’s very little doubt the Chilean is a world-class player, the transfer saga had rumbled on for far too long and Sanchez’s commitment to the cause was starting to be questioned. “Everything seems OK. But no one knows what’s going on in his mind”, Schuerrle said.
“But as well but it’s a new chance for him, what you want in life is a new chance and I’m sure with his quality that he will take it”.
It is understood that Arsenal are set to give Aubameyang a way out of Signal Iduna Park by offering £53million for him. The duo played together successfully at Dortmund before the midfielder moved to Manchester United in 2016.
However, they could be about to complete their third piece of business of the January transfer window by signing Mkhitaryan’s former Dortmund teammate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
“I can not say if anything will happen in the next few days”.
