Bryce Harper is one of 24 athletes in the ESPN The Magazine Body Issue, online now and newsstands Friday.
ESPN The Magazine’s “Body Issue” issue has celebrated the finest naked physiques of athletes from around the world, including tennis star Venus Williams, soccer goalie Hope Solo and baseball player Prince Fielder.
In the magazine, Love talks about his shoulder injury during the post season, troubles with his weight and staying in shape.
Oh, you couldn’t keep me out of the cupboards. I didn’t see this when I was young. I do still have to get the space in my traps done. It’s something I’ve been trying to figure out, but it’s just how my body is.
NEW YORK, N.Y. – Dallas Stars centre Tyler Seguin struck some interesting poses as he bared all for this year’s edition of ESPN The Magazine’s Body Issue. I have pretty big ears. “I knew when it happened I probably wasn’t going to be able to return to play”, Love said.
I taught her how to stand with the right posture, how to keep her chest down and hold up the bow after your shot and really follow through with the back. Ever since then I’ve tried to keep hair on my head so I don’t have to look at those things.
Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin and heptathlete Chantae McMillan are the two other women who grace the Body Issue’s seventh edition covers. “I 100 percent think that my best basketball is ahead of me”, Love told ESPN The Magazine.
“It’s not like I woke up one day and I had a really athletic body and ripped-up abs”.
To make sure the National Basteball Association star was camera-ready, he even switched up his diet and workout plans to prepare for the naked shoot. Of course, these are artistic photos and don’t show anything too graphic.
