Fox Information host Megyn Kelly challenged GOP candidate Donald Trump about a few of the his previous feedback about ladies, Trump responded by taking a shot at Rosie O’Donnell. Mr. Trump said “blood was coming out of her eyes and whatever” meaning nose, but wanted to move on to more important topics.
Organizers of a Republican event withdrew frontrunner Donald Trump’s invitation Saturday after he suggested that a presidential debate moderator was tough on him because she was menstruating. John McCain for being a prisoner of war.
When doing so, he has repeatedly targeted women and their physical appearance.
And yet for the outspoken, combative Trump, Kelly would seem to represent a type of person primed to get his goat. “He’ll get over that and we’ll be fine”.
When moderator Bret Baier asked the 10 candidates who would not pledge not to run as an independent, only Trump raised his hand.
Kelly was born in Syracuse and majored in political science at Syracuse University. A year after that, she was hired by Fox News chief Roger Ailes. She previously hosted America Live. “I wish her well”. “I just think it’s inappropriate to call people names”. I’m not an ideologue…. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker said President Obama has “messed up” the federal immigration system. “She’s disgusting”.
In June, she scored a plum assignment from her bosses: She was tapped to interview two of the Duggar daughters who admitted to being sexually fondled by their brother, Josh Duggar, all stars of the TLC reality series, “19 Kids and Counting”.
Recently, Kelly landed an exclusive interview with the Duggar family where the parents spoke about the molestation allegations surrounding their son Josh.
As we boldly predicted in our Florida GOP Debate Drinking Game, Trump went on to declare himself the victor of the debate and retweeted his horde of supporters who concurred with this opinion.
This isn’t the first time that Trump and O’Donnell have clashed.
Donald Trump is making the rounds on the Sunday morning talk show circuit and is firmly holding his ground after he has been widely criticized for comments directed at Fox News’ Megyn Kelly. But, you know she’s just somebody I don’t have a lot of respect for. I’ve been very nice to you although I could probably maybe not be, based on the way you have treated me.
Of blogger Erick Erickson’s decision to revoke Trump’s invitation to the weekend’s conservative RedState Gathering, Trump said Sunday: “This guy’s a loser”.
The remark was tailor-made to buttress the longstanding Democratic Party argument that Republicans are tone deaf when it comes to women’s issues.
But Sunday, Trump remained defiant.
“I apologize when I’m wrong, but I haven’t been wrong”. Who would make a statement like that? The post was later deleted, but on Friday evening Trump called Kelly a “lightweight”. It was epic even for Trump, who is known for spewing hateful venom the social media platform.
“I cherish women”, the real estate mogul told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union”, adding that he did not mean to imply that Kelly asked him sharp questions during the debate because she was menstruating.
