Would the presence of a Carly Fiorina on the ticket or at least, you know, very visible within a party, does it blunt some of that?
During an appearance on Fox News Sunday, Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina pushed back at the “supposed fact checkers in the mainstream media” for their continued defense of Planned Parenthood despite the ongoing controversy surrounding the organization’s practice of harvesting fetal body parts.
“Positioning herself as the eventual nominee is exactly what she did in 2010″, she says.
“What I am troubled by are the misleading, inaccurate allegations about them that we heard from Republicans at their debate”, Clinton told CBS’ John Dickerson.
Fiorina did not go into further detail Wednesday in this preface to her comments on drug policy, during which she criticized equating marijuana with alcohol.
What she said: “As regards Planned Parenthood, anyone who has watched this videotape, I dare Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama to watch these tapes”. “It’s a long time to be debating, but I think it’s even worse for people that have to sit”.
Are you ready to accept more DNC debates? She plans to learn more about the ousted CEO’s record. Her husband, Don, who was wearing a “Jeb!” sticker, offered that in his view, too, a strong selling point was “the way she handled Trump“. Yes, there were men on the stage who spoke with conviction and feeling about Planned Parenthood.
Trump didn’t seem to have been missed, though. In fact, the stock footage was added to the video to dramatize its content. We rate her statement Mostly False.
The problem for Mr Trump is that when much of your success comes from garnering free media attention – and when you tout your high poll numbers as a way of establishing credibility – what happens if and when these things slip away?
I mean, they will claim somebody watched it for them.
“I do think that people want to know, ‘What do we stand for?”
That said, I think Fiorina’s answer beat the boys’ responses because she highlighted the underlying issue that is propelling this movement: special interest groups. Mr.de Blasio alluded to Pope Francis’s scheduled visit next week, and the pontiff’s calls for world leaders to recognize their “common humanity” with those seeking to start a new life in their countries. “For me, that look is fuel”.
Last night, Carly Fiorina broke the convention.
According to Time, Fiorina concludes the opening section of her book by connecting the impact of Lori’s deterioration and death to the candidate’s concern for the direction of the country.
In Greenville, S.C., she addressed the Heritage Action for America forum Friday, doubling down on her calls to end federal funding for Planned Parenthood.
Conservatives in the arena also lavished applause on Texas Senator Ted Cruz’s line that Republicans ought to try nominating someone as committed to conservatism as Obama is to liberalism.
The 2016 election run has turned up more surprises at every turn.
