Gemma Collins found I’m A Celebrity…hard-going – but will she be prepared to give it a second chance?
Celebrity Big Brother isn’t the only programme pulling out all the stops to get the GC on it, I’m A Celeb have also approached her about returning to the jungle in November. Get Me Out Of Here!
A source told The Sun the blonde was in “advanced talks” with bosses to make her comeback after her dramatic exit in 2014.
Last year the TOWIE star, who admitted herself she would consider returning to the jungle back in May despite her early exit, had audiences in stitches before she even landed in the jungle with a hilarious helicopter ride which saw her demand to get out mid-air.
“Bosses are fascinated to see if she can overcome her fears and stay for the duration”, a insider, adding that although the stint was “disaster” it “made great TV”.
The 34-year-old TV personality panicked after she lost the show’s opening trial and was put in the “Celebrity Slammer” with little food.
She also feared she had contracted malaria.
However, not long after Gemma quit, Craig had to do likewise when he was given the sad news that his brother Dean had died suddenly after suffering a massive heart attack.
But if Collins was to return, she wouldn’t be the first to be a repeat contestant: Katie Price has already done the show twice.
Other stars rumoured to be joining this year’s show include Spencer Matthews and Caitlyn Jenner. I was fearless to go in there and I was courageous to leave because I knew I would get a lot of stick. “As long as people take me serious as a musician, that’s all it comes down to”.
