Apple and other like Microsoft hope with larger tablets to breath new life into the tablet space. Most likely bearing the name Surface Pro 4, the upcoming tablet will very likely capitalize on features introduced in the latest OS from Microsoft, Windows 10. However, Microsoft’s fortunes changed with the launch of Surface Pro 3.
From budget models to hybrid two-in-ones, smaller variants and even tablets that look like smart handbags, we now have nearly any kind of tablet computer you can imagine. All this is made possible by software that’s (in theory) equally comfortable accepting touchscreen and keyboard input – Windows 8 for the first Surface models and now Windows 10 for the modern devices.
All in all Apple’s September 9 address is shaping up to be one of the most interesting and important in recent times.
Separately, another report from Business Insider anticipates a new Surface Pen to debut with the Pro 4, after Microsoft acquired a company called N-Trig that specialises in stylus technology. But as we mentioned, nothing is set in stone right now, so we’ll have to wait until next Wednesday for the mystery to unravel.
There are lots of speculations that Apple is going to launch the iPad Pro on September 9 for their annual Apple event but others say that the tech giant is not yet ready to release their newest gadget. Some new features are the Slide Over, Split View and Picture in Picture, components that will allow you to check on a second app without being forced to leave or close the one you’re now using. In terms of power, the device may run on an A9 or A9X processor that will enable the user to do multitasking, along with options of 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB internal storage with Wi-Fi. Surface 3, which rides on the popularity of the previously released Surface Pro 3 and is affordably priced, has a positive impact on consumers’ willingness to buy 2-in-1 PC products. There won’t be any new Macs either, apparently. According to Christian Science Monitor, the iPad Air 2’s price went as low as $359 recently.
What else do we know?
Additionally, there are far more extra connectivity features present on Cube i7 Remix than we were expecting, making it thoroughly flexible for a vast audience. Neither the Surface Pro 3 or the Surface 3 are particularly affordable, but at least there’s a choice between the two which gives potential buyers some kind of financial flexibility.
The rivals like Apple and Samsung have taken notice of the success that Microsoft Surface has garnered.
