Rodriguez, 36, took a plea deal Tuesday before jurors who convicted him on Friday of murder, conspiracy and burglary charges began a death penalty phase of his trial. She could get life in prison without parole, or a sentence allowing the possibility of release after 21 years.

Michelle is also facing charges of murder and is also eligible for the death penalty if found guilty. She’s jailed without bail pending trial.
“The guy knew what he was doing”, she said.
Prosecutors allege that Paet enlisted Rodriguez and two different individuals to kill her husband in a bid to gather $650,000 in life insurance coverage. His wife Michelle Paet, Corry Hawkins and Jessica Austin are being tried separately.
Prosecutors Michelle Fleck and Frank Coumou said they plan to take testimony at the hearing from people affected by the slaying.
The victim was reportedly shot in December 2010 at his Las Vegas home as he was getting ready to drive to work at Nellis Air Force Base, the report stated.
Michael Rodriguez was found guilty last week of murder in the death of Paet in Las Vegas Nevada.
Nathan Paet’s mother, Carmelita Paet, says she accepts the apology that it doesn’t bring her son back. “Lol”, the message read.
