It is The Jungle Book Live action film by Disney and a newcomer Neel Sethi is all set to be casted as Mowgli in it.
Disney gave a statement on July 15 to a reputed source, US Weekly, that they have finally decided who will be their Mowgli in The Jungle Book action film. It is Neel Sethi who has been casted as Mowgli.
The boy has never acted before and it will be his very first experience. No doubts, it will be a great project for him. He is working hard to portray Mowgli in this action film.
From New York City to New Zealand, from London to Canada, almost the whole world has been searched by Disney to found their hero. Finally, the search is done and they have founded their Mowgli in India.
The boy Mowgli is only 10 years old, and Sethi will be playing Mowgli’s part in Disney’s The Jungle Book.
The Walt Disney Studios made an announcement to inform about their character, Mowgli “that 10-year-old Neel Sethi will play the part of Mowgli in Disney’s The Jungle Book.” They also said, “Neel is a newcomer from New York picked from among thousands of auditions, and his role in The Jungle Book marks his first foray into acting.”
Neel Sethi will be the very first actor who will portray the combination of live action and animation. It is really a dream work for any actor, particularly a boy of 10 year old who has come with no such acting experience.
Sarah Finn who is the casting director of this movie adds that this adorable boy “embodies the heart, humor and daring of the character…he’s warm and accessible, yet also has an intelligence well beyond his years and impressed us all with his ability to hold his own in any situation.”
The Jungle Book will be releasing in 3D on October 9, 2015. Jon Favreau said,“Casting is the most important element of any film and finding the right kid to play Mowgli was imperative.”
