“The candy’s a big deal”. Last year, they verified 84 percent of the sex offenders and continued to track down the remaining offenders in the days that followed.
Her daughter Marin DeClue said, “It’s really hard though”.
Sheriff Allen and the Decatur County Sheriff’s department encourage everyone to have a fun and safe Halloween.
Reach says there is nothing in Alabama’s sex offender law that says sex offenders have to go to a certain location on Halloween or that they should not welcome trick or treaters.
“It’s just the children’s safety”, Cpl.
Approximately 11,000 offenders are registered in Kansas and live and work among our communities.
“Current law requires registration seven days prior to release from a penal institution; or upon placement on community supervision (probation) or juvenile probation”, Vinger said.
Sex offenders who had child victims and are on probation in Ector County will be spending Halloween at the Sex Offender Therapist Office. “All we have to do is add them to the registry”.
You never know what houses some of them go to for trick or treating.
“You want to make sure that data is up-to-date”.
