Recently Calvin Klein released a beautiful ad which outraged the women at large. Though the ad has everything going for it, it is a beautiful ad which features the beautiful model Myla Dalbesio who looked extremely good; however what outrage women was that she was described as plus-size.
The size 10 underwear model who looked normal and healthy was categorized or labeled under plus-size. This categorization sparked and outraged the females at large as they cannot believe that size 10 would now be under the plus-size category. Fans on Twitter and other social network have started criticizing the brand for such an act.
Myla Dalbesio looked normal in the ad and not at all plus-size. Though she is the curviest model ever working with Calvin Klein, but she is labeled as plus size! The Elle magazine called her the newest plus size star when they interviewed the model. The blame came upon the brand for labeling the healthy and normal model. Elle also focused on the hot topic that how fans are upset on social networking sites over the plus size issue and how the fashion industry considers Myla as plus size. Myla was extremely excited at being a Calvin Klein model and featuring in the advertisement. She said she is confused about all these things and thinks she is bigger than most girls who had worked with Calvin Klein.
She said she loves that she is healthy. She also said that she feels great about the campaign and feels no distinction of any kind. She is happy that she is recognized for what she is. She also said that there is no separate section for plus size girls. To talk it all, size 10 is not there in the plus size section, so we can call Myla as a beautiful and healthy model.
