The victory at Atlanta’s East Lake Golf Club was Woods’s first since 2013, and the intervening period featured the 14-time major victor struggling with back woes and personal issues to the point where some wondered if he would ever play competitively again.
For the 18th, Woods got himself withing striking distance of an eagle at the par-5 finishing hole; and sure enough, he buried the 35-foot putt, eliciting a patented fist pump from Woods. along with raucous applause from the East Lake gallery.
Washington does have Josh Norman in the secondary, who will probably cover Davante Adams for much of the game, but that’s still a matchup Green Bay can win. He had two 100-yard games, including 125 and a score on 19 carries in a win at Dallas on October 8.
