The research of 1,006 Star Wars fans, ranging from casual aficionados to superfans, was commissioned by Barclaycard to celebrate Star Wars day (today, 4 May 2017). To celebrate this day, Brick Fanatics opted to build a little setting for a fan favourite Star Wars character.
Star Wars mania is in full swing for Thursday’s Star Wars Day. Disney owns the Star Wars franchise. There’s definitely something there for the dozens of us that are fans of both franchises.
They can also now see plans for the new Star Wars-themed lands at Disneyland and Disney World. “He also added that his favorite movie is The Empire Strikes Back and his favorite character is Darth Vader”.
Though the initiation of the celebration has come from the fans, the franchise seems to have subscribed to it.

Many, including GameStop, LEGO, Hallmark and Build A Bear Workshop are offering special deals and promotions for the holiday.
The renowned composer said the universally-recognisable Star Wars theme is similar to playing a classical piece like Beethoven’s Fifth. Elsewhere, the hashtag ‘#NoLukeIAmYour_” started trending on Twitter in the early morning in the United Kingdom, encouraging fans of the franchise to fill in the blank which would usually be occupied by the word “father’.
