$1.6B Powerball jackpot will be split 3 ways
California Lottery officials said Wednesday that one ticket in the state matched all six numbers in the $1.5 billion draw.
The Pennsylvania Lottery reported that there were 1.2 million winning Powerball tickets from Pennsylvania with prizes totaling more than $11 million following Wednesday’s lottery drawing.
A spokesman for the California Lottery says winning Powerball tickets have also been sold in Tennessee and Florida.
If someone matches all the winning numbers, the jackpot would be paid in annual payments over 29 years, or the victor could opt for a lump-sum payment of $930 million.
