1 dead in plane crash at Milwaukee’s Timmerman Airport

A single-engine plane caught on fire Wednesday evening at Milwaukee’s Timmerman Airport.

At least one person is dead after a singe-engine passenger plane crashed in Milwaukee’s Lawrence J.

Emergency responders received initial reports of the crash at Milwaukee’s Timmerman Airport just after 6 p.m., officials said.

The crash site was located within the airfield, officials said, and no one on the ground was injured in the incident.

Milwaukee firefighters and the Milwaukee Sheriff’s Office were on the scene, reports WMTV.

The Milwaukee County Department of Transportation has confirmed that both passengers have died.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate.
