$1 Million Lottery Ticket Sold in Philadelphia

The last Powerball jackpot victor was in November when a ticket holder from Tennessee claimed a $144.1 million prize. Almost 108,000 winning tickets for smaller prizes were sold in New Jersey.

Lustig said that it isn’t luck and instead he treats the lottery like a full-time job, concentrating on increasing his odds of winning.

The victor has 180 days from the date of the winning draw to claim their prize, otherwise all the money will be redirected to help California public schools.

A National Lottery spokesman said: “The largest Lotto jackpot the nation has ever seen is waiting to be won on Saturday”. “It only takes one to win, but it takes a blessing from above for that one ticket to be the victor”.

A group of eight U.S. Postal Service workers will be splitting a $1 million Missouri Lottery prize.

The cash option is estimated around $205 million. Tickets cost $2 each.

Saturday’s jackpot would be the 12th highest in Powerball’s 23-year history, according to the lottery association.

In September 2015, a Powerball jackpot of $310.5 million was won by a single MI man who initially failed to come forward.
