€100000 uncovered in Garda search
The money was uncovered after two cars were searched in Blanchardstown on Saturday morning.
During the course of the search, officers found €160,000 in cash in the vehicles. They discovered a further €100,000 in cash in the house in Clonsilla.
They encouraged anyone who had information that could be useful to their investigations to get in touch with Blanchardstown station or to call the Garda confidential tip line.
She was questioned under the drug trafficking act but has since been released and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The Garda also discussed a recent event in which they found a homemade shiv in a bag dropped by two young men.
