#11. Atlanta Falcons (6-3) @ Philadelphia Eagles (4-4)

There is no better place to do just that than at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Eagles are one-point favorites when they face off against the Falcons in Philadelphia, according to OddsShark.com. Usually three, if not all four, will agree on who they think should win that week’s game involving the Eagles.

The Eagles beat teams by winning the turnover margin, and that hasn’t escaped head coach Dan Quinn’s mind.

Wentz and the Eagles are hoping for a similar and even more immediate turnaround.

They put up exactly 34 points per game away from the Georgia Dome, including 43 last week at Tampa Bay. Wentz is 3-0 at home this season but has struggled in the red zone everywhere. They’ve dominated opponents in Philadelphia, outscoring them 84-23. And finally, they average an impressive 7 rushing first downs per game (the league average is 5.9). But failures on both 3 down (3-of-15) and 4 down (1 of 4) proved deadly. Something has to give. “It is a business trip”. If the Eagles have to play “catch up” early on, this game could get out of hand by the third quarter. “From the moment we started preparation earlier in the week until we finish the game, everything needs to be geared toward finding a way to win”.

Atlanta Falcons tight end Jacob Tamme suffered a shoulder injury last week, which has left his status for Week 10 in doubt.
