13 people shot during house party

The eleven other victims were shot in the legs, and are being treated at local hospitals.

Officers were called to 19 Plymouth St. about 1:30 a.m. Sunday when after learning that shots had been fired there, police said.

A man was also shot in the face, although his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The attackers shot people inside and outside the house.One woman is in critical condition with a gunshot wound to her face, police said.

Thirteen people were shot overnight at a house party on Plymouth Street, city officials said.

The wounded include 11 males and two females.

Bridgeport police believe two shooters opened fire on about 100 partygoers from behind some hedges surrounding the home’s backyard. Detectives were investigating the shooting Sunday morning. Authorities are asking that anyone with information contact the Bridgeport police.

The victims in Bridgeport are among tens of thousands shooting casualties every year.
