17 year old schoolgirl wins Britain’s X FACTOR
The 17-year-old singer immediately burst into tears after being announced as the victor of the show on Sunday’s (13.12.15).
A favorite of the bookies since the beginning of the show, she was crowned the public’s favourite after putting on a jaw-dropping performance, earning unprecedented praise from show boss Simon Cowell, who tipped her for superstardom rivalling only show veteran Leona.
Speaking on the ITV show, Louisa says she’s been dreaming of her win for a long time: “I’ve imagined this day for so many years”.
Her mentor Rita Ora said: “Thank you to Louisa for being the most wonderful, fabulous, lovely victor of the “X Factor”“.
“A user called Vickeyy.x said: “@ReggieNBollie are the winners in eyes made me smile each week.
“You’ve stepped up a gear tonight”, Simon Cowell told them.
During the show’s finale, Louisa Johnson put her heart and soul into her rendition of “I Believe I Can Fly” by R. Kelly. Her duet with Rita Ora (Jennifer Hudson’s I Am Telling You) during part one of the final was simply unbelievable.
There couldn’t been a better song for Louisa as the victor song suited her perfectly. Just go out there and just sing like it’s the first time we’ve ever seen you again.
“We are never devastated that we lost”.
When singing the winning song, a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young”, according to reports, people in attendance were given torches to wave. “I love that song it’s just me”.
Meanwhile, if you blinked you would have missed Louis Walsh’s return to X Factor on Saturday night.
Talking about the moment her name was read out, she said: ‘I was in the zone. “The money we raise will make a real difference”.
The grand final show will include a performance from Adele, who will be taking to the show’s stage to sing record-breaking hit Hello which she first teased in a 30-second snippet during an X Factor advert break.
She followed up with The Power Of Love by Frankie Goes To Hollywood.
