1D over the moon with new video
The four-member boy band blasts off as sexy, space-loving NASA astronauts in the new music video for their single “Drag Me Down”.
But there is one thing that has taken them over the edge: the conspiracy theory that the boys left space for Zayn in the “Drag Me Down” video. And Niall Horan was seen in the Partial Gravity Simulator, which makes you feel like you’re actually floating in outer space. Whilst Harry meets Robonaut, a human-like robot, a model of which is now aboard the global Space Station. The video concludes with the boy band being launched into space with an unknown destination as its target.
Tomlinson showed his gratitude towards his fans, accompanying the video with the words: “Thank you for all your awesome support on this single”.
“Drag Me Down” has hit No. 1 on iTunes in a staggering 90 countries.
Fans have also expressed their delight on social media and even compared 1D’s current video to the “I Want It That Way” release of Backstreet Boys several years ago.
At the end of the clip the band are blasted off into space, causing some fans to search for the hidden meaning inside the vid. One Direction never need to flip the scrip on what they do, but they have and continue to do so with each new release.
The Drag Me Down hitmaker quietly walked backstage, retrieved a fire extinguisher and when his pal was least expecting it, he opened fire and covered the hunk in white foam!
