1st look at Daniel Radcliffe as Federal Bureau of Investigation agent in “Imperium”
We began filming the moving this week. The actor revealed on his Google Plus page that he will be playing an Federal Bureau of Investigation agent in his upcoming movie, IMPERIUM, and his new character has a super short buzz cut! Harry Potter is officially no more.
The image shows the handsome star with a skinhead and devoid of facial hair – a style he has favoured in recent months – while wearing a slim-fitting army camouflage sweater.
Imperium is based on the real life experiences of ex-FBI agent Michael German, who co-wrote the script with relative newcomer director Daniel Ragussis.
Before his movie makeover, Daniel had been sporting a very scruffy look for quite some time.
The film follows a young FBI agent, played by Daniel, who goes undercover among a group of white supremacists suspected of building a dirty bomb.
Harry Potter’s hair was probably his third-most famous physical feature – and by getting rid of it, Radcliffe has erased an iconic element of the Boy Who Lived. He will next share screen with James McAvoy in Paul McGuigan’s “Victor Frankenstein“.
