2 teens killed in Vaughan crash

A deadly single vehicle crash has killed two teenagers and put four others in hospital with injuries ranging from serious to life threatening.

York Regional Police said the incident – which also injured four other occupants in the auto – happened on Teston Road near Kipling Avenue and Pine Valley Road at 9:19 p.m.

Vaughan firefighters said they helped extricate six people who were trapped in the vehicle. Five others were transported to hospital where a 16-year old boy succumbed to his injuries.

Police said weather is likely a large factor in the crash. Teston Road between Kipling Avenue and Pine Valley Drive was closed for several hours.
