2015’s World’s Best Workplaces Revealed
Cary-based SAS has ranked in one of the top two spots on the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces list in each of the past five years.
Rounding out the highest 5 on the list are knowledge storage specialist NetApp and cellular communications supplier Telefonica. The Great Place to Work Institute has recognized Cadence in the USA, Canada, China, Germany, India, Ireland, Korea and United Kingdom. This year’s best workplaces represent operations in 47 different countries and come from industries ranging from cosmetics and candy to computer software and chemicals. “Sharing this recognition with other global leaders in people management and motivation as recognized by Great Place to Work® validates the success of our people management and the emphasis we place in our employees”, said Inaki Cebollero, Atento’s Chief People Officer.
The evaluation, which concerned survey responses from greater than half one million staff on the 2015 World’s Best, discovered that a spirit of camaraderie is central to worker perceptions that their cultures are nice.
The listed companies already are part of the national places to work and have a minimum of 5,000 employees worldwide. This program enables full-time employees to take off up to five days per calendar year – with full pay and benefits – to volunteer at nonprofits of their choice.
