25 review: Hello Adele, what’s new in your third studio album?
“We called it ‘the Adele factor, ‘” Mr. Crupnick said in an interview.
In the clip, for BBC Music, the songstress introduces herself as “Jenny”, a soft-spoken nanny.
“Sometimes I just feel it’s only me, who never became who they thought they’d be, I wish I could live a little more, look up to the sky, not just the floor”, she sings in her top-notch tone.
As well as performing and chatting with Graham Norton during her TV special, Adele filmed a comedy sketch, donning a prosthetic chin and nose to subtly alter her appearance for the audition.
However, Adele isn’t allowed to be very hands-on with her own social media sites after getting into trouble for “drunk tweeting” in the past.
It’s only when she starts singing that the all rest realize that it is actually Adele on the stage. ~ We would literally die!
Meanwhile, Adele also discussed her body image issues – the same things that plagued the singer in the past.
Now along comes Adele, her mighty voice smashing records like Thor’s hammer crushes everything in its path. “Hello”, the devastating ballad that was released as the album’s first single, sold more than 1 million downloads its first week, almost doubling the pre-existing one-week download record (held, somehow, by Flo Rida’s “Right Round”). Another impersonator says, “Try saying that to her face, I’d like to see the reaction”.
“Send my love to your new lover / Treat her better / We’ve gotta let go of all of our ghosts / We both know we ain’t kids no more”.
Adele’s third studio album, “25”, came out on November 20.
“We love and respect Adele, as do her 24 million fans on Spotify”, a spokesperson for Spotify told Entertainment Weekly.
It is unclear if the album will appear on Spotify or Apple Music in the future. Stacey Lee Richards, one of the impersonators, said that “Jenny” was “strange looking”, but she didn’t say anything because she didn’t want to judge. “I didn’t realise it was her until the second verse as I didn’t think anything like that would ever happen to me and I didn’t believe it for two days afterwards”. “I hope you enjoy the record as much as I enjoyed making it for you”, she added.
According to streaming companies Apple Music, Deezer, and Spotify, Adele’s new album will not be available to their customers.
The British singer is the rare artist whose allure spans demographic groups, from teenagers on YouTube and Spotify to adults who visit record stores or frequent iTunes.
