250-HP Ford Fiesta RS Coming In 2017
Ford has announced a series of special “Colour Editions” for the B-MAX, Fiesta and Focus.
Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F), through its Ford Performance, is gearing up to launch at least 12 new sports cars over the next few years. And according to reports it could offer up to 183kW from its 1.6-litre EcoBoost turbo engine. Customers can choose either a three-door body style or a five-door body style.
The interior continues the contrasting theme with a unique black-coloured gear knob with white stitching, leather steering wheel with white stitching and white inserts on the interior door handles. The multi-purpose vehicle will also come with a black front grille, rear spoiler, rear diffuser and privacy glass.
At the top of the colourful family sits the Focus Zetec S Red and Black Editions.
Inside, the centre console is painted black and red stitching features on the wheel, gearstick, handbrake and seats.
Apparently, though, it is alread hard at work developing a Fiesta RS as part of its continued roll-out of additional performance cars including the Focus RS, GT and Mustang Shelby GT350/GT350R duo. The Panther Black edition reverses the combination.
The B-MAX Zetec Colour Editions are available on sale from January from £15,745 on-the-road and will arrive in dealerships in spring.
Beyond its upgraded engine, it will receive improved suspension and braking systems as well as a selection of new visual and aerodynamic elements, including bold front and rear fascias.
The Ford Focus Zetec S Colour Editions are available with a choice of 1.5-litre EcoBoost petrol or 2.0-litre TDCi diesel engines producing 180 and 148bhp respectively. Both models feature a six-speed manual gearbox.
