Two men and a woman from Pennsylvania stopped while driving with a cache of weapons and apparently on their way to try to help a teenage girl involved with drugs in NY pleaded not guilty on Wednesday.
One of the suspects allegedly later told investigators that they were heading to Brooklyn to “rescue” the girl before they were stopped, officials said. Facing multiple gun possession charges, they pleaded not guilty and are being held on a $75,000 cash bail in Hudson County, New Jersey.
A police officer who pulled over a pick-up truck at the Holland Tunnel leading into Manhattan was stunned to discover the vehicle was loaded with rifles, ammunition and body armor. While Cramsey wrote on the Enough Is Enough page, “I’m now 11 miles outside of Brooklyn New York and going to a hotel to extract a 16 year old girl who went up there to Party with a few friends”. Smith replied, “I’m there”.
Cramsey is a gun range owner in Pennsylvania called Higher Ground Tactical.

Port Authority of NY and New Jersey police say officers stopped the van Tuesday morning in Jersey City for a cracked windshield. “It was her friend”.
A friend said Cramsey always carries a loaded gun with him in Pennsylvania and had recently been acting like “Superman”.
It’s not clear how having more guns than hands to shoot them was figuring into Cramsey’s plan, but it looks like this was not the first time John Cramsey made an armed “rescue” attempt.
The Morning Call said Cramsey had lost a daughter to a heroin overdose and spoke out about the heroin epidemic at a Pennsylvania town hall roundtable meeting in February.
