399cc Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 revealed!
Unlike the USDs on the elder Scrambler, the Ducati Scrambler Sixty 2 gets conventional Showa forks and a monoshock at the rear.
The newest addition to the Ducati Scrambler series is now in India and it’s called the Scrambler Enduro. From left: Multistrada 1200 Enduro, Multistrada Pikes Peak, Hypermotard, XDiavel (with Domenicali), 959 Panigale, Scrambler Flat Track and Scrambler Sixty2.
The powerhouse is an L-Twin cylinder, Desmodromic distribution, 2 valves per cylinder, air-cooled engine with the other notable visual differences between the Sixty2 would be the exhaust system with single stainless steel muffler and black aluminum tail pipe cover.
Interestingly, the final machine Ducati chose to unveil was not the off-road Multistrada but the new XDiavel, which has seen an aggressive ground-up redesign from the standard Diavel that made its appearance back in 2011. The model has a dry weight of 167 kg.
The three new colors of Atomic Tangerine, Ocean Grey and Shining Black are already making their way into the marketing pictures as well as onto accessories such as helmets. While the previously mentioned Scrambler Sixty2 opens the way for a new two-wheel segment that meets the requirements of those seeking an affordable bike that’s easy to handle and has low running costs, so does the Flat Track Pro. It is priced at £8,995 (INR 6.34 lakhs or Dollars 9,616). “The radiator is upsized to retain engine at optimum operating temperature while shrouds on sides direct air towards it. Headlights are redesigned along with full LED optical lights while the XDiavel sits on new multispoke 17” alloy wheels with 120/70 ZR17 tires up front and 240/45 ZR17s at the rear.
