4-inches iPhone (2016) Leaked in a Video
The iPhone 6s will lend its Live Photos to the new model too.
Powering it all will be an Apple A8 chipset with the M8 co-processor that will also come from the iPhone 6 models. The 4-inch screen (and presumably its 1136×640 resolution) will be retained, but the edges of the phone and the front glass will be curved instead of squared off as they are in the iPhone 5 and 5S. Indeed, the upcoming “5se” features a design similar to 2013’s flagship but upgraded internals, software, and hardware features that blend the old design with modern technologies from the past two iPhone upgrades.
The report claims that the iPhone 5se will come in Silver, Space Gray, and Rose Gold colour combinations – as seen on the iPhone 6s/ 6s Plus lineup.
According to Chinese website, MyDrivers, the company is set to introduce a device that looks a lot like the iPhone 5s. According to 9to5Mac report, Apple is not targeting mainstream or budget shooters with the iPhone 5SE. At the moment, the new phone is being produced overseas and is planned for a March introduction ahead of a late March or early April release by Apple.
Apple codenamed the device N69, and the “se” label stands for special edition, which clearly suggests it will be an improved version of the iPhone 5, with features borrowed from the iPhone 6 and 6s.
As for the Apple Watch, it is expected to get a major revamp as well, but later this year, somewhere after September.
On hearing about a media event by Apple, we had begun to anticipate a briefing about the launch in March itself.
New bands are reportedly made of a new material, though it’s not clear if Apple is updating its polyelastomer material or not.
But Apple won’t wait until then to offer fresh reasons to buy the Apple Watch – or to provide additional options for current owners.
That said, the report adds that Apple isn’t fully convinced about launching the iPad Air 3 at its mid-March event.
