4th Impact voted off X Factor
Taking to the stage to sing Jennifer Hudson’s And I’m Telling You, 4 Impact hit all the right notes as their voices spiraled into the air.
But after their performance of Fancy Rich Girl by Iggy Azalea & Charli XCX, Cowell said: “At last we see four personalities”. Even though Simon Cowell lost his chance, the remaining contenders still has a lot on their plates to get the coveted throne of becoming the next champion.
With just five acts left – Louisa Johnson, Lauren Murray, Ché Chesterman, 4th Impact and Reggie N Bollie – how will they fare on the Cowell clap-o-meter? Rita Ora hailed Lauren as a future recording star saying: “I’m going for the person who’s an artist, who can sell records, who I can envision with a career [and] I think standing alone is more powerful… there’s a future for Lauren”.
And the highlight 4th Impact’s piece? “I can’t remember a sing-off s emotional as that”, he said.
The vote went to a deadlock with 4th Impact receiving the lowest number of votes and being sent home.
However while he is said to be incurring a £100 fine every time he lights up in the studio, the excruciating pace of the show is said to be why the record label executive can’t wait till after the cameras stop rolling.
The singer – who is being mentored by Rita Ora – was attacked by angry viewers after she appeared to reject a hug from one of the sisters, as they were celebrating making it through to the next show. “Lets keep believing [sic]”.
It was the Jukebox and Judges week on X Factor this Saturday (November 28) which meant two songs each for the final five acts – one chosen by the public via Twitter, and one selected by their mentor.
The result of the live shows will be out on Monday.
‘By this point in the competition artists usually have a sense of their own style, whereas you look like you’ve come straight from work and sang a song on the X Factor’.
