5 dead in Oklahoma; 2 teens taken into custody
Police in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, are investigating after five people were found dead at a home near a country club, Tulsa’s KRMG and KOKI report.
Police found five bodies inside the home, plus a child in critical condition and another child who did not appear wounded, Cooper said in a statement.
The suspects and victims were related, the police sergeant added.
Sgt. Thomas Cooper said in a press release that officers were dispatched to the scene Wednesday night around 11:30, for an unknown problem.
One youth was taken to the hospital in critical condition, and another youth was found unharmed.
Cooper told NBC News that the incident was “almost unprecedented” in the city of around 100,000.
“This is a relatively safe community, smaller than Tulsa and what you might call a bedroom community”, he said, according to the broadcaster. ‘Especially when the victims are juveniles.’.
