50 and expecting: Janet Jackson confirms she’s pregnant

Janet Jackson is pregnant with her first child, a source confirmed to Entertainment Tonight.

When last heard from, the superstar singer was postponing the second leg of her “Unbreakable” world tour on doctor’s orders as she and her husband, Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana, planned a family. Janet Jackson returned to the stage after a four-month hiatus for mysterious health reasons, bringing her energetic dance show to Dubai.

Jackson began her “Unbreakable” tour last August and it soon made the Top 20 global concert tour listing compiled by Pollstar. “If they knew what they were up against”. Weeks later, she denied rumors she had cancer.

Jackson will celebrate her 50th birthday on May 16. Although she did have surgery, she denied that she had cancerous tumors removed.

The claims have seen the rumour mill go into overdrive, with many fans questioning whether Janet froze her eggs or even used a donor egg to finally get pregnant.

A year later, she similarly said on Access Hollywood, “I would love to, I would love to have a family, but it’s in God’s hands”.
