6 dead in Kalamazoo County shooting spree

All three shooting incidents appear to be related, authorities say. The people who were shot had no apparent connection to the gunman or to each other, according to police.
The shootings have intensified a long-running debate over proposed restrictions to gun access and made gun control a recurring issue in the run-up to presidential elections in November.
