7-Eleven store responds to ‘Tom Brady’s a cheater’ receipts
According to a photo posted on Twitter, a 7-Eleven in Colorado is using its receipts to roast New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who has been masterful this season in the wake of Deflategate.
The message “war” was started by Joshua Harrison.
After seeing the story go viral on social media Thursday, the owner of a 7-Eleven in Beverly, Mass. decided to make a statement of his own in support of New England.
New England Patriots fans do not agree.
The receipts include the phrases: “Tom Brady is a football god”, and “Haters live in Denver”.
The response receipts are a clear victor with customers here and to make sure the message is loud and clear the bottom of the receipt features a final thought.
Zotto told Denver7 he’s been a Patriots’ fan for decades.
Zotto said he didn’t know how to change the message on his receipts, but he’s learned how now.
The Broncos are certainly among the many teams that have been heartbroken by Tom Brady at numerous points over his storied career.
By the way, the anti-Brady message on the Aurora, Colorado, store receipts are gone.
A store employee on Thursday morning verified the photo’s authenticity, adding that they stopped adding the phrase to receipts a few days earlier on account of some customers’ complaints.
Harrison, who is a Pennsylvania native, told the station he isn’t a Broncos fan, and cheers only for the Steelers.
