76ers nearly stun Warriors, Raptors continue streak
The Knicks were able to blowout the Suns a night after falling to the Toronto Raptors as they had a lot of their players back. He’s scored well in every big game and even though facing the Knicks isn’t huge, playing at Madison Square Garden is and he will come to play tonight. But the champion Warriors are more than a one-man show. He’s shooting. 597 this month and averaging 17.5 points per game for the Sixers, who have taken big steps toward regaining some respect around the league recently.
As the Warriors (43-4) look to challenge themselves, they’ll remember how for some frightening moments, the 76ers (7-41) made the game a little too close for comfort.
After the starters checked back into the game, Philadelphia made it an eight-point game with 2:02 left after a Robert Covington dunk in transition after Isaiah Canaan stole the ball from Thompson. And it was a tough night as he wore a nasty scratch high on his forehead above the right eye, the result of a Carmelo Anthony hand in the third quarter.

Green secured his ninth triple-double of the season and shot a flawless 9-9 from the field. Fisher said the Knicks hope he can play Tuesday against Boston, but it’s more likely he won’t return until Thursday or Friday…. Golden State improved to 21-4 on the road… The Knicks ran off 14 straight points, helped by eight Warriors turnovers in the period, and led 20-18. The Warriors just kept rolling.
Irving and backup point guard Matthew Dellavedova combined for the first 18 points of the fourth quarter as Cleveland powered to the win.
