‘Gotham’ Actor Confirms Joker Role With Creepy Instagram Post
As production on the second season of “Gotham” is ongoing, new photos from the set have leaked online.
“I’m surprised my neighbors didn’t call the cops on me because I spent those weeks constantly laughing and staring at myself in the mirror”, Cameron told Comic Book Resources.
The 21-year-old actor was seen throwing gasoline on to a school bus full of students. He’s also seen holding a gun and in another moment he’s pictured holding a fire hose with another man in similar outfit as Jerome helping carry the fire hose. After the first appearance, both Monaghan and Gotham producers have expressed interest in delving further into their version of The Joker. Gotham creator Bruno Heller pretty much confirmed the speculation, telling The Hollywood Reporter that the second season would focus on the Joker’s rise in crime.
What we can say right now is that, seemingly, the show is going to waste no time in season 2 picking up on the story of Jerome.
The “Gotham” premiere will air on Fox on Monday, September 21, but we’ll have other information long before then.
