New Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice images revealed
According to Firstpost.com, some shots will bring back nostalgic scenes from “The Dark Knight Rises” particularly the black-tie, ballroom set up of Affleck and Gal Gadot sans their super-suits as Bruce Wayne and Diana Pryce.
English actor Henry Cavill will play a fallen Superman in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
As for what fans should expect from this new Batman, Affleck explains that the movie will make it clear why an “older” actor was cast.
EW has released more of the Batman-related content they prepared for the print issue, and it also includes a chat with Affleck on how he came to even be considered for the iconic part.
That cynicism is going to feed into the story as Batman fears Superman, who’s being hailed as a modern-day Messiah, will eventually use his power to overthrow governments and control the world.
In their Comic Con special focusing the cast and crew of the movie, Entertainment Weekly (EW) helped answer that question.
The report also notes that the SDCC 2015 panel of Warner Bros may be home to the announcement of who would play Green Lantern and the very first time we would see the entire core group of the Justice League on stage. “He’s at the end of his run and maybe the end of his life”, he told Entertainment Weekly. What we knew for sure is that this was an “older” more “mature” version of the popular comic character. I also like the raging techie interpretation of Lex Luthor, and the ongoing question of whether or not Superman is a man or a god. “At the time I was 40, 41, and had just finished Argo, and I felt like ‘This seems like a odd way to get to Batman.’ But Zack convinced me”, the actor said.
With Zack Snyder once again marshalling the madness and Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher and more expected on screen, Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice will be out on March 25 next year.
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Suicide Squad” will be hitting theaters next year.
