Nick Grimshaw: I Did Snog Rita Ora At Glastonbury

Harry is expected to join Rita’s fellow new X Factor judge Nick Grimshaw at his Judge’s House – Harry and Nick are old pals – while it’s believed Louis will join show boss Simon Cowell for his Judges’ Houses round.

However, despite Rita denying that anything happened between them while at Glastonbury one year, Nick has now confessed that they did end up kissing – with tongues, as well.

The “Poison” singer and the Radio 1 presenter spoke about flirting with each other backstage at the festival, in a behind-the-scenes clip from ITV’s The Xtra Factor.

After telling the story Nick, who came out as gay in 2012, joked: “She’s always fancied me”.

Elaborating on what led to the romantic moment, Nick explained: ‘We were sharing a caravan, me and Rita and a few of our friends. “We shared the double bed”.

Nick took it all in his stride though, saying: “We’d watched the Rolling Stones together and it was emotional and everyone else was snogging”. It would get to a romantic song or a bit of a moment and everyone was sort of cuddling and stuff and we were like ‘Why don’t we have boyfriends?’.

Of what Rita was like, he said. “So it happened”.

She told Xtra Factor hosts Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odoom: “I tried to get off with him at Glastonbury once… he just completely shot me down”.

When asked if there’d been any physical contact since, Grimshaw teased: “No kisses since, no. But who knows?”

“No kisses since. We have not kissed since, but who knows she is single now”.

Rita has been linked to Wiz Khalifa and Zayn Malik since splitting from Ricky Hil in July due to the struggle of maintaining a transatlantic romance.
