Rehearsals get underway for Coronation Street LIVE

The episode will air on Wednesday, September 23 at 7.30, and the group will be the feature of it.

Coronation Street live episodes have, in the past, featured some of the show’s biggest storylines, plot twists and disasters, and traditionally, a live Corrie broadcast tends to leave someone, or several people, very dead…

The cast will have two full weeks of rehearsals before going live to the nation on the 23rd.

Obviously, none of the cast want to be Weatherfield’s answer to Tanya Branning during the live show…

Although exact plotlines for the one-off episode are yet to be revealed, it is thought that it will be focusing on the Platt family’s desperation to get evil drug dealer, Callum Logan, off their backs as he continues to bribe them for £20,000.

He told us previously that he anxious about calling character Bethany Platt, played by Lucy Fallon, by her real name in a mistake echoing the one made by Jo Joyner on the live EastEnders episode earlier this year.

So will Callum die?
