(WHAS 11)-We had to wait for that extra practice session for NASCAR drivers at Kentucky Speedway. It is the first of five track-specific rules packages drivers will run under this season.
NASCAR announced rule changes for the Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan global Speedway that is expected to reduce speeds, with the hopes of increasing competition. NASCAR executive Steve O’Donnell said Tuesday a similar low downforce package will be used at Darlington in September. “We’ve got experts on standby who are over there repairing it as we speak”.
