A Federation Internationale de Football Association spokesperson confirmed the complaint from Fiorentina over Mohamed Salah’s alleged breach of contract: “It’s pending”. It remains to be seen if Chelsea’s loan strategy will come under further scrutiny following the complaint from Fiorentina over Salah.

Salah signed for Chelsea previous year, but struggled to seal a regular starting spot at Stamford Bridge.
