Claire McCaskill wants to revoke Bill Cosby’s Presidential Medal of Freedom

REUTERS Actor Bill Cosby is facing a string of sexual assault allegations It comes after the release of a 2005 deposition in which the disgraced actor admitted to buying Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to women before sex and even giving them to one lady in the past. The sexual assault allegations he faces have impacted his career and image.

Scott said she had refused to jump the bandwagon after dozens of women made sexual allegations against Cosby.

While Cosby admitted that he acquired seven prescriptions of Quaaludes with the intent to give the sedatives to young women he wanted to have sex with, he has not admitted to actually drugging any of his accusers. And Cosby had admitted, in the deposition partially released this week, that he had obtained quaaludes in the 1970s to give to young women he wanted to take to bed.

The ex- Temple University employee wants a judge to order “the entire deposition and transcripts” from her case to be unsealed and is seeking to void the confidentiality agreement. “Defendant has opened the door to the relief sought by his continuing actions of those of his ‘camp.'”.

Efforts to contact his attorney for comment Monday were unsuccessful. A judge said it was in the public interest to unseal the documents. The owners, who have showcased Cosby at ribbon-cuttings and in a mural along the side of its main restaurant, told The Washington Post that they are still trying to figure out what kind of presence he will have at their newest location.
