House speaker disagrees with Trump’s comments on immigrants
Clinton, who has as good a grasp as anyone of the history of pioneering women in America, hemmed and hawed. He has since repeatedly stood by those comments. “And I want to see it resolved sooner rather than later”. But Clinton dodged like she’d been given Sophie’s Choice. The real-estate mogul told The Washington Examiner that Perot’s run was a disaster that helped Bill Clinton win the presidency in 1992. And why shouldn’t it? Bernie Sanders has the second highest favorability among primary voters with 20% supporting him as their candidate. She is tied with Fiorina.
“Everybody has a belief that we should control our borders”, the GOP frontrunner said. Clinton ducked that, too.
“I’m very disappointed in those comments and I feel very bad and very disappointed with him and with the Republican Party for not responding immediately and saying, ‘Enough, stop it, ‘” Clinton told CNN during her interview. “You’re pissing off all the right people in the GOP”.
Add Hillary Clinton to the list of people Donald Trump no longer likes.
During Trump’s announcement speech he – now infamously – talked about Mexican undocumented immigrants being “rapists “and “criminals”””. But she did not address the money Trump has given her family charity or the dough he’s given her previous political campaigns. “They would consign immigrants to second-class status”. “They don’t want to provide a path to citizenship”. Barack Obama campaigned in 2008, he promised to pass comprehensive immigration reform if elected. Clinton leads Trump, Christie, Bush and Cruz. “We have a right to enforce our immigration laws”, said Rubio, who also attended a poolside “happy hour” at the home of Taylor and Gwen Parker in Coralville.
“Don’t try and convince me that there’s no crime, that [immigration] is wonderful”, he said. “I have absolutely no support for a city that ignores the strong evidence that should be acted on….”
Sanchez, who is from Mexico but last lived in Texas, had seven felony convictions and had been deported five times.
Earlier this week, I wrote a piece about the different standards reporters use in covering Clinton. She was a public voice in 2009.
The big swing she took was a partisan roundhouse against the Republican field on immigration, and she nicked the GOP for driving an investigation into her email practices at the State Department.
The mix of stark partisanship with slippery policy is familiar to anyone who watched the Clinton White House or Hillary Clinton’s 2008 campaign.
Tweeted Bush Communications Director Tim Miller: “My uber driver to Manchester airport, Kimberly, is trying to make extra $ bc she has had trouble getting full time work”.
