Great White Launches Out of the Sea, Photobombs Other Shark
A massive great white shark was filmed leaping several metres out of the water while another shark was fed from a boat off the coast of South Africa.
The video was captured at Seal Island, according to Grind TV, a popular hotspot for great whites. Without warning, another white shark breached in the background of his shot, rocketing from the ocean with incredible force.
“Great whites are the only sharks that spy hop to see around above the surface”, he said.
Mr Abbott said even though there were several divers in an underwater cage at the time the leaping shark caught everyone by surprise because there were no seals or decoys nearby. “No seal or anything, just a totally random breach”. A flying shark photobombs its dining fellow predator.
“Sometimes sharks will jump to get out of each other’s way, but there were no sharks below this one”, he said.
In the video posted to YouTube Monday by Remo Sabatini, a shark nuzzles close to the boat as it chows away on piece of meat.
