Mark Cuban: If I ran for President, I would win
If Donald Trump can do it, Mark Cuban figures he can do it, too.
Politico reports Cuban, however, would operate a “far different” campaign than Trump.
“I love the fact that he has changed the game”, Cuban said.
Trump and Clinton are actually running for the White House; Cuban tells CNBC he gets asked about doing so “every day.”
Cuban – who is not now planning to run for any specific office – said he believes top American executives and entrepreneurs could “absolutely” hold their own in government and politics.
So what would President Cuban do?
Now adds now, however, that would come with a big “if”.
According to Politico, Cuban is hosting a Monday rally for Trump at the arena where his National Basketball Association team plays.
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban insisted Monday that he’s not serious about becoming a political candidate, even as two new stories suggested otherwise. It’s a fun idea to toss around.
Cuban also told CNBC that he likes the idea of having a “three-comma POTUS-as in $1,000,000,000”. He said he understands Trump’s mentality because only someone with a similar net worth to The Donald can grasp why he thinks he is worthy of being president.
CNBC notes Cuban, like Trump, isn’t a stranger to controversy.
“No matter how smart or arrogant you think you are, I can’t imagine anything more hard or more humbling than making life or death decisions”, he wrote. He stated, “Whether it’s someone like me, or a Trump, the first time someone dies because of a decision the president made, I think all that bluster goes out the window”. Security-software pioneer John McAfee – formerly a fugitive from authorities in Belize – is running for the White House.
