Twitter web site restored after experiencing an outage
Twitter is back online after suffering an outage which lasted almost an hour on Monday (14 September). As of 3:15, the company’s Web site could be reached intermittently.
If you try to access Twitter.com via a browser, you’ll get generic an error message noting something is wrong and that Twitter is working on a fix.
Well, Twitter has experienced outages in the past before, and this time around, yet another outage has happened to the microblogging site, leaving some of the service’s users frustrated. Twitter acknowledged the outage on its official blog and said the issue is “ongoing”. On 31 August, Twitter faced issues with its website lasting about 11 minutes. “Other services including mobile were not affected”, Twitter later said in a post.
In recent months, Twitter has additionally battled executive changes and falling stock price due to stalling growth.
