Need For Speed beta heading to PS4 & Xbox One

All that’s confirmed is that the beta will run on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Origin users will eventually have an opportunity to participate as well, as EA and Ghost Games will host a beta ahead of the game’s November release. You’re not forever alone. If you have an EA/Origin account tied to your Xbox or PlayStation account, you can hit the link and add your name to the pile.

Electronic Arts explain that players taking part in the beta will help the team at Ghost Games iron out any technical issues so as to provide a smooth launch and a great experience as they continue development. As silly as the latest Need For Speed looks, I’m kind of keen on the game. Need For Speed will feature a deep customization utility similar to the old Need For Speed: Underground games.

Sign ups for the beta close on September 25 which suggests the beta could be held just after this time ahead of the game’s November launch, either that, or it’ll be held on or around the 25th.
