Amy Schumer Tells Stephen Colbert She Ate Jake Gyllenhaal’s Cake

Jake Gyllenhaal should’ve cleaned out his refrigerator.

We love Amy Schumer and we show it: this week she is revealing what was once her go-to nighttime ritual: getting hammered and eating Jake Gyllenhaal’s old, frozen cake.

She explained, “I would get drunk and I would eat it and I would talk as if he were there and I was at the party that the cake was served at”. Drunkenly gnawing into the cake with her bare hands, Amy made the audience LOL as she took massive bites into the frozen sweet, which read “U R A Princess” in frosting – obviously meant for Jake’s at-the-time model girlfriend, though the message was fitting for Amy as well.

The comedienne proceeded to show home footage of herself biting into the sizeable cake while saying: “It says “happy birthday”… because it was your birthday”.

Sometimes, when you’ve had too much to drink, you just need to Jake Gyllenhaal’s leftover cake.

As anyone in her situation would, she snooped through all of his stuff, obviously.

“Yes, I am”, she grins before sinking her face into the cake wedge.

Schumer joked that she was still renting apartments because she “was not rich yet”. “I have a four-floor walk-up”.

“It was very old”, she said.

At that point, Schumer had never spoken to Gyllenhaal, who will make his own “Late Show” appearance Tuesday.

“Wage gap. No paid pregnancy leave”, she said.
