High Court sets aside Delhi government order rejecting Uber’s license

This aspect of the Uber experience reflects an overall trend in which we’re increasingly providing personal reviews and ratings to everyone and everything with which we come into contact. Many governments and taxi companies have protested against Uber, alleging that its use of unlicensed, crowd-sourced drivers was unsafe and illegal.

French taxi unions had staged a massive protest against Uber in the month of June this year demanding for the app UberPop to be completely removed.
